This spring, Garmin announced their newest fitness gadget, the Forerunner 935. The watch includes GPS, heart rate, altimeter and barometer. The 935 also has smartwatch capabilities. It tracks a number of cardio activities including cycling, swimming, hiking and running — just to name a few. These features make the watch appealing for triathletes and multi-sport athletes. The watch can additionally estimate VO2 Max and connect to the Strava App to further provide training feedback. More on how the watch helps you train can be found here.

Since I’m still on my little sabbatical, most of my days are spent in workout wear with no makeup, hair all sorts of messy and in sneakers. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I am just a tad obsessed with sneakers. My sights have been set on the #LunarCharge for awhile now but this week, I finally made it official. I’m really feeling this neon and navy combo.

I got almost everything from Trader Joe’s. This recipe is super easy and only takes a few minutes.
Getting healthy protein on the daily is important so that we can keep our metabolism running, our energy levels up and blood sugar levels stable. Not eating enough good protein can lead to a plethora of symptoms — sluggish metabolism, low energy or fatigue, a low immune system, trouble building muscle mass and issues with blood sugar levels. As you become more active and focus on your fitness, protein plays a key role in giving you the energy needed to crush your workout and recover effectively after.
Oh YAS, the ACE Hotel. The perfect spot for our Palm Springs wedding. Chance and I both dig succulents, color, bold patterns and mid-century modern design so P.S. was a no brainer. Still within the U.S. but gives you that vacay vibe — snow on the mountain tops but desert terrain below. We truly wanted this special weekend of ours to be our guests mini-getaway.
